Ravi Agarwal and Till Krause started to develop the Yamuna-Elbe project collaboratively by invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the City of Hamburg in autumn 2010.
Ravi Agarwal curated the Delhi part PROJECT Y: A Yamuna-Elbe Public Art and Outreach Project.

In Hamburg Ravi Agarwal added his own work and videos of the Yamuna by Atul Bhalla, Sheba Chhachhi and Vivan Sundaram to
the exhibition "Free River Zone" on the barge Caesar.
